Virtual Desktop Service gateway upgrade

• Start: Mon, 26 Oct 2026 10:00p.m. (UTC) (scheduled), Planned end: Tue, 27 Oct 2026 6:00a.m. (UTC)

The Virtual Desktop Service is upgrading the connection gateway used to reach desktops in all availability zones.

Desktops that are already running will keep running throughout. Users with a session open in a zone being changed will be disconnected when the switch happens, and can reconnect once it is complete. As a
precaution, please save any work open in your session before the change reaches your zone. No action is required otherwise.
