Intermittent failures with OVN LoadBalancers

We are aware of issue affecting some loadbalancers using the 'ovn' provider. Loadbalancers with the 'amphora' providers are unaffected.

Affected loadbalancers may stop working after some time. To make the loadbalancer work again, you can remove and re-add all the members in the affected loadbalancer pool. However, this may not be a permanent fix; the loadbalancer may stop working again after some time.

As a workaround, users are advised to use the 'amphora' provider until this is resolved.

    We have pushed an update to Octavia that fixes this issue. This will apply to new and existing loadbalancers that are not affected. Existing Loadbalancers that are affected (have stopped working) will not be automatically fixed. They will need to go through the workaround to remove and re-add members (as described in the original outage announcement).
