• Outage start: Sun, 22 Jun 2025 11:00p.m. (UTC), Outage is ongoing

Tasmania RDSI NFS service outage for Monday 23rd of June from 9am to 12noon AEST.
This will affect University of Tasmania HPC users (kunanyi / Rosalind) and Nectar users accessing RDSI NFS mounts. Files and directories from these NFS mounts will be inaccessible during the outage.
Nectar resources in Tasmania are not impacted.
This outage is to apply updates to improve stability and security.
Users are encouraged to re-mount RDSI after 12 noon; please submit a ticket if you have RDSI problems after this time.
Users are also encouraged to use the outage time to update their instances (apt update/upgrade, yum update whichever applies to the chosen Linux distribution).
